Jonni is your host at Hæli – Icelandic horses, sheep, and life in harmony with nature have been his home for decades. With a wealth of experience, calmness, and dry humor, he leads the tours, knows every path in the highlands, and ensures that both two- and four-legged guests feel equally at home.

Carina is your contact person—she first came to Hæli in 2021 to help out on the farm and is now a permanent member of the team. She studies riding and teaching at the University of Hólar in northern Iceland and returns every summer to help with the tours. In 2026, she will organize and personally accompany her own tour for the second time.
